Nothing would have been more natural than for Cos d’Estournel to support Elephant Family, a charity organization supporting the conservation of elephants and their natural habitat in Asia. After donating proceeds from exceptional auctions of COS100 in New York and Hong Kong to Elephant Family in 2018, Cos d’Estournel once again demonstrated its dedication to the cause by donating a double magnum of COS100 to the remarkable “Animal Ball” in 2019.
One of the most eagerly anticipated events of the year in Great Britain and the biggest charity fundraiser in Europe of its kind, the Animal Ball was held in London in the presence of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall. Devoted attendees donned stunning animal masks designed by the world’s greatest fashion houses in support of the Elephant Family cause. Perfectly aligned with Cos d’Estournel’s daily commitment to the environment, this celebration of nature, habitat conservation and the protection of one of the world’s most endangered species raised a record-breaking £1 million in 2019.
